In 1977 I recorded "Love With Me" and the flip side "Loving You" on
Nod TTocs Records. Publishing was done through BMI. The project
involved hitch hiking to Hollywood, sleeping under cars utilizing garden
lighting bulbs to stay warm. Rehearsal for the project took place at
Studio Instrument Rental (S.I.R.) Hollywood, Ca

The Recording took place at John Thomas Studios 12123 Oxnard
Street North Hollywood, California 91606
on 6-16-1977. When the day's work was completed I paid John and
explained that the balance owed would be paid upon mix and
mastering. John was kind enough to accept those terms. I was out of
money. I returned to Hollywood several weeks later and completed
mix/mastering.
In August of 1977 I travelled to Saugus, California for final EQ and
mastering. As I approached the plant I saw a large fire and many fire
engines. I spoke to a gentleman named Bill Leigtner, a vice-president
of the company who informed me that due to the fire there would be no
work performed that day. I guess Bill saw my disappointment and
decided to perform work himself on my record. We sat together while
adjacent buildings went up in smoke and completed EQ for the master
pressing stamper. I was truly grateful for what he had done for me. Bill
told me that it was his pleasure to help me. I will never forget Bill. On
September 7, 1977 I received the master pressing stamper. The rest is
history.
Several weeks ago I Met Christian Peintner who found the record in a
warehouse basement with thousands of others in 2008. He found me
through B.M.I. The record was never released. It is truly wonderful to
finally have my record heard. I am in the process of finishing Love With
Me-The Album.
